The 1 of its kind in the world, the BESSEY GearKlamp works BIG in small spaces to provide a unique clamping solution for cramped locations, up against another object or, when reaching across something to clamp. The patented gear mechanism separates the spindle from the handle for greater clearance and is fully enclosed to keep out dust and debris. A quick release shift button for fast set-up and a rotating rail-mounted handle for final pressure application makes using the clamp very intuitive. Available in 6 in., 12 in., 16 in. and 24 in. capacities with 450 lbs. of nominal clamping force.

I love the clamp design and function. Unfortunately, they are over-priced by at least a factor of two (a 24″ clamp for $30…a more “reasonable” price would be around $15). You can’t have too many clamps in the shop, but the price makes me think twice about purchasing many more of these. (I have two of the 24″ – hoping they drop the price – I would like six more!
