This portable miter saw stand is just great. It’s light weight and easy to setup on site or at home. With the adaptive system I have been able to mount not only the chopsaw but also a router, and router and router table, also at one point mounted a piece of plywood for a portable work surface. You usually get what you pay for and you wont feel cheated once you get this home. There are no bells and whistles but it is easy to set up, it’s very sturdy and versatile. My Hitachi 10″ is mounted to a piece of 3/4″ plywood so it would be portable and easy to clamp it to a work surface.. I left the saw on the plywood and mounted the saw to the stand’s removable supports. Worked perfectly. The stand has square rails; therefore, you can mount other tools to plywood bases and just clamp them to the rails, and viola! you have a sturdy, portable work station. I did this for my grinder and scroll-saw. Very handy and versatile stand for me.

Sturdy and folds up for transport. The two brackets that look like they have triggers are actually quick mount/dismount brackets. They bolt onto your saw so setting up “shop” is as simple as unfolding the legs then snapping your saw (or whatever) onto the frame. Quick and easy. Once you get the infeed/outfeed arms adjusted to your tool then there’s nothing else to do. I’m using it with the Homecraft 10″ (which is actually made by Delta) compound miter saw.
