BORA Nylon Centipede Table Top Bag

I am not a professional but an avid woodworker hobbiest. I have little extra space in my garage so this fold up surface paired with the Centipede frame is perfect. I can fold them up and throw them on a shelf. The set is amazingly sturdy and will easily support my 12″ miter saw. I found it to be as advertised. I am a 70 year old female.

Fantastic, it was Christmas gift for my husband. Easy to setup and very functional. Strong and durable. Would definitely buy more.

Great product, a must purchase if you have the bora centipede. You won’t be dissapointed. The bag for it cost about the same, but its a must to protect your table.

I often work outside when the weather’s nice so I need a portable work bench that’s easily moved from place to place. The BORA Centipede 4 ft. x 6 ft. Steel Work Support Sawhorse let’s me do this very well.This is a sawhorse. It’s a different looking one but a sawhorse none the less. What’s different it this folds up into a single 9″x12″x38″ unit that fits, with it the accessories, into the included bag for transport. Unfolded in seconds, it becomes a 4’x6’x30″ “surface” that easily holds a 4’x8′ sheet of ply and even smaller by partially closing the sawhorse. Opening and closing is done by holding the two center hubs, pick it up slightly and pull together or push apart. It only weighs a little over 20 pounds so this is very easy. This BORA Centipede is very versatile and portable. The BORA Centipede comes with four quick clamps that work like a hold fast on my work bench. They don’t hold as tight but they don’t require a mallet to remove either. There are also four x-cups that fit a 2×4 perfectly. I found these worked pretty well to help stabilize the sawhorse. These accessories fit into holes on the revolving hubs and can be placed and removed easily from any of the hubs.With its light weight, easy open and close and portability, its stability suffers some. It feels shaky when first set up but this gets much better with some weight on it. Product literature says it’ll support 4500 pounds but I’d be concerned about getting that weight on top of it since it doesn’t work well to slide things off and on it.The sawhorse fits into the included bag along with the accessories which have their own small bag. This can be tossed in the back of the car or truck and taken anywhere.The BORA Centipede Steel Work Support Sawhorse is a very nice tool. It’s exceptionally portable and easy to set up and take down. The 4’x6′ open size easily holds a 4’x8′ sheet of ply to make a large work table. All of the parts and accessories fit into a single bag for transport. I have wanted one of these for a long time. It is handy to have a work surface support that doesn’t take a lot of space when not needed. Especially good for a small shop or when the work bench is cluttered with tools and project parts. Everything fits into a storage and carrying bag that measure about 14″ x 9″ x 39″, but you need to realize the bundle is rectangular when putting it in the bag. Unfolding is easy, but it took me a while to figure out how to collapse the unit. I finally stood it up on end and it folded right up. It extends to 4’x6′ which will support a full sheet of plywood (1′ extending past ends of stand). Bora also sells 4’x4′ and 4’x8′ sawhorses. The X-cups will hold a pair of 2×4’s horizontally or vertically to lift and support sheet goods for cutting or routing. The hold down clamps are designed to keep a work piece in place while working on it. This works much better than trying to set up multiple sawhorses to support things you are working on. Rated at 1000 pounds. No instructions were provided, but most things are intuitive except collapsing unit.

I expected a lot from this purchase and it exceded my expectations. Made my shop more efficient. So happy I purchased this.

Out here on my homestead I need tools that can easily taken to the site of the project. And with space as a premium folding compact equipment is a must. The Bora Centipede is a huge improvement over my make shift set up of a folding compact table saw stand with a piece of plywood on top that I’ve been using. The Centipede system is surprisingly strong. When first unboxed, I really questioned the strength and stability of the Centipede – boy was I wrong! Just like the commercial, the Centipede is lightweight – very quick and easy to unfold/fold. I was building quail battery cages and found the Centipede Sawhorse along with the Workbench top to be incredibly versatile. It was easy to set up in my poultry run and very stable on uneven ground. Don’t discount the included accessories. You’ll find their use intuitive – it didn’t take long for me to use them on both the Centipede and with the Workbench dog ears. I added the Bora Centipede Workbench top for the Sawhorse and highly recommend together. .

Works well, easy to setup

Needs to be on hard level surface, too many legs to use outside on dirt.

So far I’ve only used it for an extended workbench for a project, but it is a very sturdy table to work off of. My only complaint would be the carrying and accessory bags are a bit small.
