Crescent 30 in. Code Red Indexing Flat Pry Bar

The tool did what it was supposed to do, assist me in taking apart my dock boards. It works great.

I bought this to help with bathroom demo. The bar is well made and sturdy. Good weight and strength. I made the demo process much easier.

I work with reclaimed wood often, and rip up several pallets in the process of salvaging wood. This tool seems to have been made to demo pallets. I can index the head in several positions, and even pound on it with the hammer to loosen the nails. (Why do they put so many nails in pallets?!?)Anyways… Great tool. I have used it a lot in the last couple of days, and it is holding up to the abuse. I was a little leery of the index point, because, as it usually goes – the more moving parts, the more likely to fail. This has not failed. If I can manage to break the thing in the coming weeks or months, I will update my review.

Has worked very well for pulling nails because it seems to get under the nail head better than the pry bar I already had which is thicker. This is thinner at the ends of the forked part but still strong.

I’ve never had a pivoting-head crowbar, so why get one now? Let’s just say I began wondering why I didn’t have this sort of thing before. There are all sorts of uses you won’t envision until this is in your toolbox. Pivot 90 degrees to the prybar for a traditional prybar, and position at zero degrees (claw parallel to the prybar) for positioning machinery and tweaking framing. I still haven’t found all the uses.

Works great for removing crown molding and baseboards

This is one of those tools that you can’t figure out how you worked without it! Awesome tool

This is the best pry bar I’ve ever used. Its strong and sturdy. The swivel head sure saved time, and is so easy to work.

This pry bar is excellent and I love the adjustable feature. It makes disassembling pallets easier and it’s great at pulling nails. I highly recommend it.

I used this long handle pry bar to separate a wood 2″ x 4″ from a 4″ x 12″. The pry bar’s adjustable head allowed me to get the angle I needed to use my 4-lb dead blow hammer from a standing position. It took just two blows and the pry bar was in. The extra leverage of the long handle easily separated the two sections of wood. The non slip grip on the bar made it comfortable to use.
