DeLonghi Livenza 6 Qt. Programmable Slow Cooker with Stovetop-Safe Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this slow cooker, it has such a cool temperature setting. The whole look of it is so sleek, it has a real classy vibe to it. It really is super versatile how the pot itself can be used on the stove top as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked a frozen turkey breast in the pot for 3 hours, afterwards it turned itself to warm which was great because my meat stayed hot but did not dry out. I liked the knob feature because it is easier for my arthritic hands. Plus the easy selection of low, medium and high. After cooking and cooling down, the pot was very easy to lift out of the main unit to set on the stove for serving. It was also very easy to clean up and store after use.

I find that the lid fits perfectly for a great seal, which is very important. The cooking pot easily pulls out to wash and I love that I can program it to cook, and then keep warm. I am thrilled with it.

Everything slides right off. Cleaning it is soooo easy. No soaking required as with ceramic types. . The timer and controls are super easy to set and use and the auto off feature is really nice to have, just in case. The large size is perfect for my large family. My favorite to make in it to save time and prep for me is chicken alfredo. It turns out so good. Everything has turned out so good, to be honest.. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with the De’Longhi Livenza Programmable Slow Cooker. These days most slow cookers have a removable insert. Those inserts are usually made of ceramic. Nice but ceramic is quite heavy and food often sticks so it needs more effort to clean. The De’Longhi Livenza Programmable Slow Cooker’s insert is a cookpot made of aluminum with non-stick coating. The pot is electric and gas stovetop safe. Sear, braise and sauté in the removable cookpot, then return it to the cooker to complete your meal. Pot can also be used as a serving dish at the dinner table. It is oven safe up to 450°F. Since all the cooking can be done in one pot and the cookpot’s surface is non-stick, clean up is easy and quick. Plus the cookpot and lid are dishwasher safe. I personally like the shape of this slow cooker. Most are round. This one is rectangular. I find roasts fit better in it. They don’t have to be cut to make fit. The programability is my favorite feature. Being able to set it and forget it makes work days so much better when we can come home to a ready and waiting for us home cooked meal.
