Denby Studio Craft Chestnut Stoneware Round Platter

Denby is a name that equals quality and I am a fan! This Chestnut Stoneware Round Platter does not dissapoint! It is a great addition to my serving pieces and I plan to re-purpose it to use as decor as well! It is a nice solid platter, rich in color, ample room for serving, etc. I like the quality of it’s appearance and am looking forward to using this while entertaining this fall! Lovely !

This is a Studio Craft stoneware platter in Chestnut made by Denby. It is part of a line which is done is different colors of brown. I believe that the platter is available in four different colors but, for my purposes, having a mid-tone brown works great. The platter is rated for use in the microwave, dishwasher and the oven. That’s a lot of use from a single platter. Most of the other platters I own are oval. I like the round shape as it is more versatile.The platter has a good heft in its weight. It reminds of of handmade, artisan plates and bowls that I have purchased in the past.I’ll include pictures which some slightly larger naval oranges piled on the platter to give you an idea of the size.
