DEWALT 12 Gal. Poly Wet/Dry Vac

Works great!

This vacuum does everything I need to keep my woodworking shop area clean.

I have had numerous wet dry vacs over the years and this one is one of the best. What I like about it is, it is tall and easy to move around. The wheels are large and roll very well, the top handle is easy to grasp, there is a strap that holds up the hose and keeps it from dragging behind or getting caught as you move it, there is a great basket for holding all the tools. Unlike many competitors who use slots on the wheels to hold the tools, this one uses a basket. It is so much easier and convenient. It also has a 20-foot hose which is fantastic as it keeps me from having to use an extension cord. The motor is much quieter than the others I currently use. It will definitely become my “go to” shop vac. It comes with a paper filter as well as the normal cartridge filters. I have not used paper filters before and I am becoming a fast fan. They make the clean up so much easier and the cartridge filter will last longer. I have uploaded a short video of it cleaning. My prior vac stopped working halfway through a job and the saw and the ground around it became full of sawdust. This vacuumed it up nicely and I do not know if you can tell on the video, but the motor is very quiet. Nice.

It works well but not meet my work requirements, I need a dust collector.

Great product

I opened my DeWalt Shop Vac and noticed that it had been used. There was dirty water stains on the attachment nozzles. I wasn’t pleasant to see, but it worked. I was missing the one screw that it had but I had one on hand. I have another DeWalt Shop Vac at my other home and I knew that it would work because of the service we get with bought DeWalt products.

First day I vacuumed for 2 hours straight. Happier than I was when I began dating my first girlfriend. Same excitement as being present for the birth of my first child.

I was disappointed when I discovered only one disposable bag was included with the vacuum.

Quiet for a Shop Vac, can work without hearing protection that I needed for my old Craftsman.Suction is very good, sometimes the sweeper brush sticks to my concrete floor.

This vac is very good quality and does what it says it will do. We have had it for about a month now. We have already used it in wet mode and it performed well. We look forward to using it in our shop area and around the house. DeWalt makes good, reliable products.
