DEWALT 27 cc 2-Cycle Gas Curved Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am surprised how easy this is to use, and have been busy since this arrived. It was in a secure box, so got here safely, then I quickly put 2 pieces together after removing security packaging. Not too heavy for me, especially when using strap that is included. Has a string guard too, that went on easily and a tank of fuel to get started too. I snapped a picture of it before I started, and didn’t think to take a pic of my work afterwards unfortunately. I made good piles all around and it was fun. This trimmer makes noise, which might be bothersome, so I recommend using ear muffs or some ear plugs like I did since my ears are sensitive. I understand there are other attachments available that would allow me to trim hedges, and though I’m not sure if I could handle it, I’m going to look into it since I’ve got some scrubs that have gotten too tall in front of the house windows this summer. ***Could not download other pic in time allowed.

Loading the trimmer head with string was very easy, some units can be such a pain! I had no issues cleaning up around the edges with this machine, has plenty of power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer works great and is very easy to assemble and operate. It’s comfortable to use and runs on one tank of fuel/oil mix for a long time. The curved shaft is easy on your backend that you can put attachments one it is a plus.

This works wonderfully, and is easy to use. This is a great product for anyone that does their own lawn work. I would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dewalt Trimmer as a free sample from TryitSampling. We just love it! It’s so easy to use and does a wonderful job of trimming! We have a huge backyard and a lot of bushes to trim. We also have a small patch of grass, and it’s a real hassle to drag the lawnmower out to cut it. We were able to cut it with the trimmer and it worked great! I would recommend it to anyone!!

So far, we have had nothing but positive experiences with this trimmer! My husband wanted it because of the different attachments that you can get to go with it. I live on over an acre of property so I really need equipment for my property that can withstand a work-out. This string trimmer is a fantastic addition to my tool shed. It’s great and runs circles around my old one. The curved shaft makes this trimmer flexible for hard to get to trimming jobs. I also like that there ae attachments available which extends its versatility.

We had a trimmer that was straight but didn’t have lots of power but it did it’s job. So we got this DeWalt trimmer that curves on the bottom to see how it worked. I have to say the price is right and it was easy to assemble. As that it curves it does the edges nice and equally. I love that it brings a stringbelt so you can put it around your neck so that means I can use it as well. It is light and you can hold it steady and it has great power. What We also love is that it is attachment capable.

I also love that you can turn the head sideways and use it as a trimmer for the sidewalk and driveway. Easy to take apart, and it came with a carrying strap, which I was surprised about. Great trimmer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this trimmer for free from Tryit Sampling to try out and evaluate. I was first initially impressed when I opened the carton and found that it also included a can of premixed fuel, so I didn’t have to worry about getting the mixture right for this 2-cycle engine. Took me about 1/2 hour to assemble it…it included the necessary tool, and I’m sure someone more mechanically inclined would have assembled it probably in about 10-15 minutes. One caveat before starting it for the first time…read through the starting instructions completely first, as it is a multi-step process, though you’ll find after one or two uses that it is actually very simple to start. Using it was actually a joy. It is actually balanced pretty well and when holding it by its grip, it is very easy to maneuver without any strain on the arms. The fuel reservoir is large enough that unless you’re whacking an entire football field, you won’t have to worry about running out of gas before you are finished. The literature says that it is designed for grass and light weeds, I found it to also accommodate some very heavy brush that I had delayed working on over the summer. When you need more line, it’s a simple matter of tapping the head on the ground and it feeds out another couple inches. All in all, I am very pleased with this unit, and I thing for next year’s yard work I am going to go out and see what attachments are available for use with this.
