[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been wanting one of these DeWalt Brush cutters for a long time. We have 7 acres that need triming. This 2-cycle brush cutter does a fantastic job. It was easy to set up and prepare. It came with everything, complete instructions, adjustable strap, fuel, oil, locking bar to tighten or remove blade. As always DeWalt makes a great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush cutter will make you wonder how you ever lived without it. Very easy to start, very easy to maneuver and boom, Unsightly brush is gone. It comes with a brush attachment, but you can purchase other attachments as well in order to make your property look smashing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this brushcutter a few weeks back as I decided to finally take on the long overdue task of cleaning up the heavy growth around my house that my dog constantly runs into. I was dreading this task for months, but this brushcutter made quick work of all of the weeds, roots, and thorny bushes that had been all over the place. Not only that, but this tool was super easy to use, and with the attachment capabilities I’ll be able to use it for all kinds of future projects around the house. I highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the DXGST227BC 27cc Brush cutter and wow does it ever work great. We had lots of over brush that a regular weed eater would not get and we cleared over half in a span of 2 hours. This machine is the bomb and i will continue to buy Dewalt products. I am sold i am amazed how well the Brush cutter works. Easy to use and not so heavy that a woman can hold it also, not meant for just men. @Dewalt
It came on time and easy to use but getting the additional warranty on line registered could not be done and it was confusing. Should have shipped to store so I could get the proper documents.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all design and Appearance are great, everything is close to reach. Easy to Start cold and one pull Start hot. Pull start is easy enough for an smaller person. Not a fan of push button kill switch too easy to touch, strap buckle brushed against and killed motor while using it. Strap doesn’t have a pad for shoulder little rough on skin. The Strap hook part to keep from un- hooking is too soft, it un-hooked three times in fifteen minutes. You have to really torque the motor to get blade turning to cut anything. Myself I dont like running a weed eater or Brush cutter that hard. Don’t know what I did to cause the blade to kill motor but, I dont think its good for motor stopping it that way. Will cut grass but not good its best for brush only. Vines can tangle blade and stop clutch from turning . Kind of heavy if you dont balance strap and handle just right. Give 5 stars for looks. 4 stars on performance. 2 stars on strap.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is easy to use and operates smoothly. It cuts the brush and overgrowth with ease. It is light weight but has a good amount of substance so that is maintains great cutting ability. Very pleased with this tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been happy with all Dewalt products for years. It is brand we trust. The gas-powered brush cutter meets our expectations as well. This is a powerful brush cutter, and I am so impressed. We live on a farm/acreage and needed to clean up thick brush that’s outgrown in our shelter belt of trees. Honestly, I avoided until this project until receiving the Dewalt brushcutter. The brush cutter made it so easy! The design is well thought out and everything is in close reach for easy use. It is easy to start and not too heavy for a woman to use (that is a bonus for me). The 2-cycle brush cutter was delivered well packaged and is easy to set up. It comes with everything you need to get started including clear instructions, adjustable strap, fuel, oil, etc. This is a product I highly recommend for anyone with overgrown bushes or weeds that are too tough for your traditional weed eater.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have thick brush at our farm in Maryland .. It was hard to get to it as a woman with just my regular hedger . With the brush cutter and than the attachment I was able to edge along the farm line I haven’t been able to in years . Cutting away poison ivy and oak and not worrying my animals or kids will get in it !!
Starts right up, I am having fun with it. I am glad I bought it because it was lighter then the competitors. Goes thru 3/8 inch easy. Above that takes a couple of whacks.
