DEWALT 27cc 2-Cycle Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used several different brands of weed eaters but none of them stand up to this one. Several things that stand out to me are the ease of starting, the power, comfort of the handles and the ease at which attachments can be interchanged. I could go on and on. If you haven’t figured it out by now I’m hooked on my DeWalt weed eater. Just like all their other products DeWalt has done their homework and put so much thought in development of this weed eater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the packaging is spot on, everything is in its place in the box, secure. Second, the unboxing and assembly is as easy as it gets, don’t even really need the instructions they make it so easy, anyone could do it. When it arrived I set it up with no problem and had it waiting on my husband when he got home. It comes with the weedeater oil! It’s a beautiful product, has good weight, and also handles very well! Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very impressed with the Dewalt 2 cycle trimmer. It came packaged nicely, it even came with a jug of gas/oil. It was easy to put together took only a few minutes. The trimmer is the perfect length for my husband who is 6ft tall. It allows him to trim easily without having to bend over, hurting his back. It’s super easy to start and run. It trims and cuts very well. My husband used it around our property and was impressed with the trimmer. Our only complaint is that the motor is mtd. We feel it would be better quality with a different motor as in speaking to it’s longevity. We will see over time if it lasts. Other than that overall it’s a well made trimmer that easily does it’s job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dewalt 27Cc gas 2 Cycle 17″ string trimmer is just what I was looking for. When opening the box it was packaged great and I was happy to find it Included the TruFuel 40:1 mix needed. The string was loaded and ready to go so no hassle there. I just to snap it together and put the guard on. It has a little weight so, but the strap helps me at 5′ 4″. It easily went through the end of the year yard scrap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dewalt 2-Cycle Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability works great!  It is very easy to use and make weed eating a breeze.  This Dewalt trimmer is very durable and is also nice quality.  All you have to do is bump the head of trimmer for more string to release. You can cut 17 inch sections at a time, which helps make getting the job done  faster. Assembly was simple and so was filling with gas and starting it.

We live in a rural area and have all kinds of undergrowth that needs cut from small to big and everything in between. This trimmer powers through it all with no problem at all! It’s easy to use and cuts down on time and is very sturdy. This is a great product and I would highly recommend to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dewalt straight shaft trimmer is the best two cycle gas powered trimmer I have ever owned in my 50 years. I love doing my own yard and the way it looks when I am finished but for years I have hated weed earring and trimming. Bent shafts auto feeds and and starting have always been my nemesis. The Dewalt straight shaft trimmer starts easy and starts first try. It has excellent coverage areas for those spots your lower can’t hit. I have had many Dewalt products in the past; drills etc. They have always been great products and my only complaint is I didn’t buy their trimmer sooner. The quality and durability will hopefully make this the last trimmer I ever buy as it is lightweight with great coverage area and easy to start. I would highly recommend Dewalt trimmer for anyone looking for a trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is of amazing quality, that does the job really well. We live in Texas and cut our grass all year round. Best, most powerful trimmer I have ever had. Assembled easily. Started on the 2nd pull, and has run, flawlessly, the first day, it has plenty of power for deep grass. It is a gas trimmer so you will need to put gas before start using it. It is lightweight and easy to hold in the hands. The string trimmer works excellently expected. A straight shaft means it can handle attachments. So pleased and happy with this trimmer, that will make our garden work easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I got this and got it home, I had to try it out! I am in love!! It has made my yard look amazing! It works so great around the sidewalk where the grass grew unruly! It is super easy to use and not so heavy that my arms grew tired! It is truly amazing and can’t wait to use it again!

This trimmer has the same solid sturdy construction I would expect from Dewalt. It cranked right up first time and runs good. Seems to have plenty of power. I got it to replace a Ryobi trimmer that died. This Dewalt is a more hearty robust piece of equipment and accepts the numerous Ryobi attachments I already have. The unit is a bit heavy so you will want to use the strap. The bump feed head is questionable. It feeds well when in use but when the trimmer line broke I almost never got the thing open to add new line. Either I could not figure out the trick or you need some serious gorilla hands to squeeze the little locking tabs to get it apart. I ended up prying it apart with a screwdriver. It took me about 10 minutes to get new line in the thing. If I can’t figure it out I will replace it with an aftermarket trimmer head. Actually Ryobi has the best bump feed head I have found. All in all I am pleased with the Dewalt gas string trimmer.
