It works very well. It’s a whole lot easier to cleanly cut wires with this tool.

Cutting off compression rings on drip tubing. Nowadays I need a little power boost for my hands “¦ this is a perfect solution.

There are three good things about this product: 1) easy to grip, 2) spring loaded, and 3) reasonably price. Oh, the quality is quite good too! Highly recommended. .

Bought these to cut burr rivets prior to swaging them down. They cut the copper shafts easily and leave the right size lump to properly swage and finish the rivet. Great product at a good price.

I bought a pair of “Compound Action” cutters because I’m getting lazy. Had to do some electrical re-wiring in my house. Cut the NM 12-3 easy, even in an awkward “two elbows” reach. Also I cut wiring staples like they were copper. I won’t be using these extensively since I’m basically a DIY homeowner, but I’m very happy with these cutters.

I really like the compound action on these wire cutters, but I wish they would open up just a little more. I have a hard time cutting a larger gage wire with these.
