DIABLO Wood, Metal and General Purpose Carbide Reciprocating Set (3-Piece)

These things will cut. No comparison to regular blades. Dut through a piece of overhead door tracj like it was wood. The fast wood blade zipped thru a 4×4 with ease.

Changed the blade of my sawzall and it cut right through big ground roots when I was struggling to cut through them with the prior other brand blade.

Expectations exceeded! Awesome blade and works as advertised (better, technically). I used these blades to cut off a cast iron pipe sticking out of the concrete floor in my basement. The knuckle joining a fitting to the pipe was right at the floor level, so I was basically cutting through double the thickness; over an inch of cast iron. I was a little worried these blades would do the job, and thought I might have to rent a band type pipe cutter. But the Steel Demon got the job done! It was a burly 20-30 minutes of cutting. As you can imagine, the toughest part was getting the cut started (sawing at a tangent to the pipe surface). I bought the 3 pack, and switched blades periodically to keep the heat down. Not sure I had to do that. But figured it was a good precaution against burning through the blades. By the end of the task, the blades don’t show much wear, so can do plenty more. This was above and beyond the metal thickness specified by Diablo (up to 9/16″) but the blades handled it with no problems. I also used this blade to cut a small corner (about 1/4-inch) of a steel beam that was sticking past the concrete (not supporting any load at that point) and out of the drywall (don’t ask – past owner/builder of my home made some really questionable choices). The Steel Demon cut through it like a regular Sawzall blade through a piece of wood! The manufacturer video included in the product photos look pretty unreal, cutting through thick steel like it was butter (that cliché may be overused – but it applies here!). There is no tricks here. The Steel Demon really does cut through metal that fast, no joke! I would highly recommend this blade for your heavy duty steel cutting needs.

Just received my new reciprocating saw and these new blades Promptly went out and pruned several large branches from the tree that was hanging over my house. Worked very well and very efficiently. Only mild objection is that the red dye on the blade dyes everything that you cut

Easy to assemble and disassemble and did a great job cutting branches and smaller trees!!!!

Metal blade was exceptional

Used the pruning blade. It was strong and cut well. Plus I got other blades too.

Very tough blades I used it ti cut 1/2 inch bar stock.
