This grill is just what I needed. It has grilled everything well and is so easy to clean. The plates go in and out easily and the grease cup catches all the drippings. I love the stainless steel exterior and the ability to raise the top for thicker items on the grill. I did have a hard time moving the unlock switch at first – it was stuck tight and I had to really force it. It has loosened up, however. The handle protrudes quite a lot, requiring moving it past the counter edge to raise the top under my overhead cabinets, but I expected that, due to it’s size. The thermostat works fine and the unit heats up quickly. The feature I appreciate the most is the timer…being someone who chronically forgets food cooking on a grill or stove…So far, I’m really glad I made this purchase- time will tell how it holds up. It was delivered to Home Depot promptly and was easy to pick up there. I’m glad I can order things like this from Home Depot and pick them up. I can see right away if it’s the correct item and if it turned out to be faulty, easy to return. Kudos to HD!

The grill works great, doesn’t take too long to heat up to proper temp, the removable/reversible plates are great, my only complaint is that in order to turn the grill on, you HAVE to set the timer dial, there’s no on or off switch so you have to then let that dial run out of time even if you’re done cooking. Otherwise it’s a good grill, not bad for the price.
