Empire 6 in. Contour Gauge

I bought this to use in a repair of my 7.5″ baseboard molding. Rather than replace a full section, I used the Empire 6 Inch Contour Gauge to create a squeegee with the same profile and make the repair. Absolutely outstanding. Worth every penny!

This tool is built solid with all metal construction.Soon as you pick it up you can feel it. Because of the thin blade design, 0.03/ 1/32 inches, its sure to capture fine contours and details. Its very simple to use too. Just place and push the back of it on a flat surface and then push the front firmly against whatever contour or pattern you want to capture. Now you’ll have the outline to trace on to your material to cutout. It’s that easy.The blades are 0.03 or 1/32 inches or 0.85 mm. thick and can reach to a depth of 1.8 or 1 13/16 inches or 47 mm. And piece up to 6 inches wide!

Great product. Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. Much sturdier than plastic versions.
