Farberware Classic Series 4 qt. Stainless Steel Sauce Pot with Lid

Can steam vegetables and cook just about anything that doesn’t require a huge pot.

I use the saucepot like a wok for stir fries, soups, and boiling large amounts of pasta.

Wife wanted the 4 & 6 qt pots to complete a set she has been working on for 35 years. This stuff just doesn’t wear out & you can’t tell the new from the old. We have given several sets of Farberware over the years as wedding gifts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is just like my mom’s growing up. One of its best features of the heat proof handles so you can put the whole thing in the oven if needed. Make sure you use over mitts when you take it out though as it will be hot! I prefer a more modern look and while its nice that its lightweight, it also makes it feel a little cheap. Functionally this works well, it just looks like I’ve had it forever and isn’t something I would leave out on the oven for “looks”.

I was impressed by how lightweight this saucepot is. I have used it for steaming and for cooking up a bunch of ingredients. It worked fine both times. The handles are rated to withstand heat up to 500 degrees but that doesn’t mean they don’t get hot so have pot holders handy! The knob on the lid felt a bit loose but I was able to easily tighten it. I’m glad to have this as an option for cooking pasta and other dishes.

I still have the set of Farberware pots and pans that was a wedding gift in 1982 and use them daily. Everyone needs basic non-stick cookware. I needed a pot for my camper, so purchased this 4 qt pot. It is the same quality as the one I have from 1982. Highly recommend Farberware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Farberware 4-Quart covered saucepot is more than enough for a family of three. I cooked twice already with it and it has been great. The only down side is the plastic handles can get hot.

I have just ordered a new 4 qt saucepan. I have had my last one for 38 years and if I hadn’t burned it badly (twice in 38 years!) I would still be using it!

My Mom gave me the set for my wedding shower 42 years ago and I have been a full time cooker I mean they were used constantly. They still look new. However I recently was boiling water in my 4 qt one handle pot and the bottom separated from the pot. It was my fault I forgot it and the water boiled all the way down and burnt the pot. I cant seem to find a similar pot to replace it, I see the two handle aluminum pot but don’t see the one with one handle. I have purchased some of the newer pots from Farberware over the years but none of them were as heavy and well made as my original set. I have included a picture of the bottom of the pot. Is there a replacement of the same pot?
