Feels like solidly build from quality materials. Makes a great coffee.2. Short falling from my old Kitchen aid 14 cup.You can not get it in Red color that become a signature/accent color in my kitchen with a number of KitchenAid appliances..Machine is elongated. So, it is seating under cabinet sideways. Yet- “brew” button is strangely not on same side as main controls. You can’t easily reach/see it.On old machine brewing compartment opens sideways, but new one is opens “up”.That means that in order to prepare fresh batch you have to pull whole machine from under cabinets.New water tank feels flimsy. Its handle looks like it will not last for long time. There is no more built in water filter, so if you need this feature – look elsewhere.

Coffee seems to have a better flavor due to this function, is the only way I can describe it. So glad I purchased this coffee maker. It’s functions are easy to use and the whole design is very sleek. This is a must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my Keurig with this KitchenAid Coffee Maker a couple of weeks ago. Prior to receiving this, I was using K-Kups for the last 10+ years and said to myself “I’m never going back to a carafe”. This product has changed my mind.; It’s very easy to use, works great and looks awesome on my kitchen counter. This coffee maker has the option to brew up to 12 cups of coffee with either the included gold-tone coffee filter or your choice of filter. It has a spiral shower head which helps the brewing process by saturating the grounds and giving a steady flow of coffee. I like how there is a setting where i can choose between regular and bold strength. There is also two programmable settings to select a time when you want the coffee maker to brew on its own. The warming plate is nice because I can set a timer and also select the temperature (high/low). Since I’m impatient in the morning, I can remove the carafe during the brewing process, pour a cup for myself and it will resume brewing when I put the carafe back. All of the parts are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The one change I would make is to the carafe itself; the plastic part around the top is not removable. This makes it difficult to clean by hand because soap gets stuck on the inside. Aside from that, this is an excellent quality coffee maker and brews the perfect cup. I would highly recommend it especially if you’re on the fence about changing back from K-cups.

It is so easy to use, easy to clean and looks great on my counter. I love to set the auto brew so I wake up to coffee every day! I strongly encourage anyone thinking about it to just BUY IT, you wont be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this coffee maker. I drink between 6-12 cups of coffee a day. I already know someone is thinking it’s a lot but between 6 am and 11pm. Not that much. However this coffee pot is amazing because it has a timer, which I looove. It super easy to understand. The drip is great. Plus I love the pause feature so I can grab a cup mid brewing.
