First the bowl is really pretty sitting on the counter – much prettier than the metal bowl. The ceramic is bigger!!! There are a few recipes that I simply can’t double in the metal bowl that now fit in the ceramic bowl. It is also a nice bowl to let bread to rise in. I think the ceramic holds the heat more evenly. I love love the pour spout. Which brings me to the only downside to the bowl. While it is bigger it is also heavier. On occasion this can be difficult for me as I have arthritis in my wrist. I do love the bowl.
