LEM 5 lb. Stainless Steel Vertical Stuffer

This is a great product. Perfect size for home use. Extremely well built. The all stainless steel construction makes it easy to clean as well as sturdy.

We used this stuffed to make sausage.It seems to be heavy duty and simple to use and clean.

This is a solid tool that does its job well. I hunt deer, elk, and pronghorn, and until now have used a sausage stuffer attachment for my grinder to stuff sausage. This dedicated stuffer is a huge step up because it’s much easier to load the stuffer and the casing, and it’s easy to get all of the grind into the extruder and casing. All the parts feel solid and it’s easy to clean. I used the four mounting holes to attach the stuffer to a piece of ¾” plywood, and used clamps to attach the plywood to my kitchen counter.

This is a serious piece of equipment. You’ll notice its weight as soon as you pick it up. Everything about this sausage stuffer is well made, smoothly finished and ruggedly built. Right out of the box it cranks smoothly and the piston moves easily. There are instructions for lubricating parts to make it function even better.I bolted mine to a piece of old laminate counter top for an easier to clean surface. I then clamp that piece to a table or counter to work. It makes it more convenient to work at a good height.The stuffer comes with 2 heavy duty clamps to hold it in place, which is probably enough for most applications. The stuffer comes with only 1 tube, so if you want to make a variety of sausages you will need to buy other tubes.Make sure everything is well cleaned before you make any sausage and follow good sanitation practices. There are many online resources on sausage making, so study up before you start putting meat into casings. Once you’re ready this stuffer will make quick work of sausage making.

This is a nice starter for stuffing sausage. All stainless except the stuffing tubes. If you never made sausage it is a fast pace process. You have to have everything ready to go because after you mix your meat and spices you have about 15 minutes to get it in the tube and the sausages made and trust me you need someone to crank it and someone to handle the casings and twisting of the sausages. If you have any problems call LEM there number is on the booklet they have a wonderful customer service.

I was very happy with the stuffer. It worked great for the 25 pounds of deer sausage I made. Would highly recommend. If you are making a much larger batch, I would go with a larger stuffer. Cleaned up easily
