Suitable for measuring vertical, horizontal or curved surfaces, the Lufkin Large Contractors Measuring Wheel displays surface dimensions in inches and feet for quick and accurate distance calculations. It features a 12-1/2 in. wheel with rubber tire for superb traction on job sites with uneven terrain or long indoor expanses. The analog counter dial calibrated to the wheel rolls over to zero after reaching 10,000 ft.

Bought this wheel to measure distances for an outdoor range (laser struggled in fog). Works well on crushed granite, which the smaller wheels didn’t. I haven’t had this for very long so I can’s speak to durability but so far it seems fairly solid and holds up well to being thrown in the back of the truck.

I’ve had a few of these wheels. They perform perfectly. The only issue I have is I wish the handle breakdown knuckle was metal. The plastic always eventually breaks and I have to brace and tape it together. Not a huge deal it just makes me look unprofessional.
