The 18-Volt Lithium-Ion 4-Port Charger offers several advantages for cordless tool users. It has a compact size that is ideal for jobsite or shop use and will accommodate up to four 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries at 1 time for increased efficiency and less downtime. The DC18SF will charge two 18-Volt LXT batteries in 1 hour and four 18-Volt LXT batteries in 2 hours.

This is a great value and long overdue. In the shop one outlet can be used to charge up to 4 batteries. Before I had 3 chargers using 3 outlets and consuming more shelf space. This is a great improvement.

So glad Makita not only made a multi-bay charger for the LXT batteries, but that it charges more than one at a time. Even though it’s not their rapid charging system, you can still get 4 charged in 2 hours. It’s nice for when you only have a single outlet, but need to keep lots of tools going on the job. So glad I bought this!
