Milwaukee 5/64 in. Cobalt Red Helix Drill Bit

Broke off an exhaust bolt and had to drill it out. (in place) Bought the 3/16 Cobalt as my starter size and also the appropriate size called for, to tap out the threads. I was surprised how easily these bits drilled through the old steal bolt.

Working on a deck project that requires me to drill into aluminum posts. This drill bit appeared to be the best that Home Depot had to offer for a metal project.

I would like to take back my negative review for 7/64 Milwaukee Cobalt bit . The hole I was trying to drill was at the angle and at a difficult location. The drill bit is excellent. I never seen a bit flex so much and not break.P.S. HD, fix the picture and a title for the review pop up. It does not match the link!

Worked well drilling on cast iron and metal.

this drill bit did exactly what I needed it for. I especially liked the guiding nipple at the tip. I have had it for a month now and needed it to drill a large hole into a barbecue in order to insert a thermometer.

I was trying to drill through metal none of the bits I had could drill through the harden steel a trip to home Depot and I bought this bit and it drilled through the metal like butter definitely recommend it

This drill bit stayed sharp to drill all the holes for the bolts that would attach new slats to my lawn furniture .Yea!

I break bits pretty often when hand drilling and these bits are cheap enough that I am not upset when I do and sharp enough that I break them less often. Great for mild steel.

Great drill. A little proces but it went through 3/16″ mild steel like butter without having to drill a bunch of sequentially larger pilot holes.
