Milwaukee M18 Fuel 18-Volt 10 in. Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw Kit with One 8.0 Ah Battery

Use this saw every day as a trim Carpentar. I’m happy with it as much as I can be only issue is the way the motor meets the wall at a 45 but with minor learning have it down pat.

I really like using my new miter saw.

The saw Performs just like it should and it needed no tweaking out of the box it was perfectly square set up just right. The line that identifies the cut line Stands out the Most of the features and was dead on I’ve had the saw about 45 days and it meets my expectations thanks for a great product for me a experienced woodworker. I bought the saw to replace all the baseboard in my house. I have used it for EVERYTHING since. It is well thought out and about the sixth M18 tool I have in my garage. The M18 (one battery and a lot of tools) is pure genius. The saw has absolutely no flaws and cuts like a surgeon.Thanks!!!!

Used mine for 2 days of deck building so far on the initial charge. I’ve ripped several 2×10’s, 2×8’s and smaller mitres and I finally burned 1 bar (of 4) of power. Totally impressed to say the least. 2 others helping me took turns and felt comfortable with their cuts and the ease of use.What I wanted and achieved was a saw I could stash in my basement tucked away, did dual mitres and could go the distance… I have more.

so I went to home Depot to buy a chop saw. figured I’d just pick up some cheapo DeWalt Saw or something.I then ended up talking with a rep from Milwaukee, I think his name was Ramin or Ramen (sorry dude)he didn’t try to sell me but he did tell me about some of the product and options and the platform itself. having been a long time DeWalt guy and knowing that they had sold the company off to some Chinese manufacturer I was open to exploring other options including Makita and other.after talking with Ramin, I concluded that Milwaukee was my best option, outside of the american-made and quality they put out, it’s the warranty and the widebirth of products and constant investment they have in making new tools and innovating existing technologies.I was really impressed with The fact I could actually talk to somebody, and he was knowledgeable, and wasn’t pushy, which made me feel like this was a really good fit with my business and his company.thanks again for answering all my questions and walking me through the platform. super excited to be a part of the Milwaukee family!!!

With modern batteries larger cordless tools like Miter Saws and Table Saws are now game changing, especially for DIY/Hobbyists without dedicated shops. I find it very convenient to just grab a battery put it in and get cutting, and being able to take it anywhere inside or outside the house without dealing with cords. With a larger battery like 9 or 12AH you can get a lot of cuts on this saw, but even with a smaller battery you can get plenty for small projects. I’ve cut everything from Wenge (a very dense hardwood) to pine (a soft wood) with no trouble.
