I am super happy with my new Milwaukee M18 Fuel 18-volt cordless rotary hammer. I used it to break up my concrete step that I need to replace and it broke it up with ease. I’ve used Milwaukee products for many years and have never been disappointed with their quality and longevity. This unite comes with two lithium-ion batteries and charger and is the high demand unit. It far outranks competitors in the time it takes to drill holes in concrete and the Powerstate brushless motor is powerful and durable. I’d definitely recommend the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1 inch rotary hammers for the professional or homeowner doing his own projects.

While not being an everyday tool for me as a residential electrical contractor, like it would be for someone in the commercial or industrial sector, an SDS rotary hammer is something I use fairly often. My primary use is drilling for concrete anchors and Tapcons. I’ve always used a corded SDS-Plus rotary hammer with the same form factor as this new Fuel model here. Offering just about the same amount of impact energy as my corded one, yet with all the freedom a cordless provides, this has already taken its place in my truck.Since getting it recently, I’ve used it in both our rather hard concrete – full of lots of stone aggregate – and for some drilling in granite. It was blistering fast at holes in the 1/4″ – 1/2″ range in both materials. 1-inch holes in granite weren’t quite as fast, obviously, but still on par with my corded. The fit and finish on this contractor-grade tool is excellent, as one can expect from Milwaukee. Like pretty much all of the tools in the M12 and M18 lines, its backed by their 5-year warranty. I use my Milwaukee cordless stuff heavily all day, every day professionally, and have yet to have a single issue with any of it. Good stuff, and highly recommended!

This M18 Fuel Brushless SDS Plus “D” handle Hammer drill has the power of a corded tool with the covenants of a cordless. At the same time I order the battery pack from Home Depot with 1-M18 12AH battery, 1-M18 6AH, and a fast charger. I use the M18 12AH battery with this tool ALL day long drilling 1″ holes in poured concrete and 1/4″ hole to mount Heavy equipment for my Audio and Video company. I use the other battery M18 6AH for my M18 Fuel Hammer drill to dive in Tapcons. I have Never been disappointed with Milwaukee cordles Tools and have a lot of them from m12 to m18 the tools are Rock solid. I’m going froma Bosh SDS Plud corded “D” handle hammer drive to This unit and It’s been amazing I don’t need to keep finding outlets; what a huge time saver.THANK YOU Milwaukee / Home Depot for a Fantastic productI’m very happy with this purchase;… just get the bigger battery as you will need it.
