NINJA 6.25-Cup Hot and Cold Brew Programmable Black Drip Coffee Maker

I bought this in April and have really liked it, the only issue is that the mechanism that lifts and lowers the baskets pushes out the tea steeper sometimes and then it’ll stop the process and the basket is full of hot water, other than that minor issue the machine works great.

Tea function doesn’t brew long enough. I have tea that is to steep for seven minutes. I can’t make that happen with this brewer

I had the original 1st edition Ninja Coffee Bar, it finally started to act up so it was time to upgrade it. Decided to stay with Ninja and boy am I glad we did!! This thing is fantastic, looks and functions are off the hook!! Makes delicious coffee (grind my own beans) and delicious tea!! (loose leaf green tea). Really am impressed with this machine and the build quality seems to be great as well!! Glad we stuck with Ninja (have the Foodi XL Deluxe, Mega Kitchen system blender, Shark vacuum) guess you can say where a Ninja Family LOL! Hey if you’ve had great luck and are happy with there products, that’s exactly why we stayed with them and got here Hot and Cold Brew system!

I bought this almost a year ago and have had no problems cleaning or maintaining since! Love the brew this can produce and how simple the design is. I’m very thankful that I got this before going into lockdown (before COVID hit, so February-ish), having good coffee at home has been a life saver! My S/O also loves the Cold Brew setting. Its amazing how great the cold brew comes out!If I could change anything, I’d change the design of the carafe spout as it can spill when pouring sometimes. It also tends to get coffee on the bottom of the carafe when brewing, so you really just have to make sure the carafe is fully pulled towards you to make sure it lines up. Because of this, I give this product 4 stars. This issue causes the bottom heat plate to get sticky or coffee stained if not cleaned routinely.

I bought this to replace my Keurig, which was clearly ready to be replaced. I had been researching and reading reviews to find a machine that would be able to make specialty drinks, dispense water for tea and hot chocolate, as well as make full carafes of coffee, and saw this one. I hesitated for a bit due to some of the negative reviews, but when my Keurig began leaking water everywhere I ran out and bought it, and now am wondering what took me so long! I am in love with this machine! I have been a Starbucks snob for 10 years, going almost every single day, but not anymore! I have discovered the secret to make my coffee at home taste just as wonderful! Froth your milk before adding it to your cofee! This coffee maker will pay for itself in 3 more weeks. I also cut the tops off my kcups and dump them in, so I don’t have to go without flavors I love that are not available in bags. I have not had any leaking issues, or error codes so far, and I use it multiple times per day for tea and hot water, in additiion to coffee in the morning. I do not remove the reservoir to fill it. So far, so good! Hopefully I won’t have any problems.

I have never and I’m not sure I will ever use the milk frothing feature, but I have used most of the coffee and tea settings. I love to sit down and drink my coffee in the morning, then have a cup or two of tea in the afternoon. There are two designs I wish were changed about this machine then it would be just perfect for me. First one is the cold brew setting, I like that I can brew my coffee at a lower temp to have less acidity but I do not love that I can’t turn on the hot plate during the setting. I prefer hot coffee, especially in the winter, so if I wanted the less acidic coffee I would have to brew the cold brew, flip it to normal coffee, then turn the hot plate on to wait an hour for it to warm, or use the microwave. Second is the design of the tea basket. I use coffee filters for both my coffee and tea, then just throw them in the compost, instead of the given permanent filters. I wasn’t a fan of having to knock the left overs out and rinsing whatever was left down the sink. While I can shove the cone filters down the weird hole they made in the tea basket, it would be easier if they had initially designed it for disposable filters.

Makes really good coffee! It’s a little pricey but.. hey, it’s a premium product 🙂
