QEP 1/4 in. Diamond Hole Saw with Water Delivery System

Got the job done easily for a minimal $$

I used this to cut 10 holes through porcelain tile to install shower accessories. It was very easy to use and cut through in less than 30 seconds for each hole. I didn’t notice a difference in the effort needed between holes so it didn’t appear that the bit wore out. The water system worked well and kept the temps down which I believe really made a difference.

I found this to be the most clever device I ever used. It was as if I had a mini tile cutter at the end of my drill. If you need to install a shower door where it is bolted into tile this was the perfect device to use.

The water delivery system made easy work of 6 holes thru ceramic tile. Use a small nail to clear the bit after each use. Use a few shots of canned air to dry off the self-adhesive seal before next hole. Follow directions about drill-and-lift and this will last for many repeats.

Was easy to work with if you read the instructions, but once we figured it out it worked great., was able to drill through the tile without any cracks or breaks, and only took a few seconds to complete hole.

I worked for drilling six holes in porcelain tile for a grab bar. I kept a tile sponge below the drilling to absorb the water that overflows from the reservoir. I will need to buy more sealing pads if I need to drill additional holes, but I didn’t see any available. I drilled at a slow speed.

Went through the tile and thin set cleanly.

Made 1/4″ sized holes in the tile that I had around my shower. Turned into a two person job with my wife refilling the water station while I held the drill in place. More messy than I had expected but what can you do when you HAVE to have a shower curtain in that exact spot. Great value and worked well, overall. Oh, the double sided sticky tape that is supposed to make a seal…doesn’t, especially after it gets wet.Don’t hesitate to use this drill bit, just be aware of the easily cleaned up mess afterward.
