It’s a sturdy plastic, in low setting it does all my basic maintenance cleaning I.e. blowing out my garages and drives. But the high setting, wow I was blowing wet leaves, old mulch and small branches in my yard. Highly recommended, great addition to my yard tools. Light weight balanced in the hand too. Made my life easier.

The plus is that it’s light weight for me to move easily all around the yard.The only problem for me is that the motor is too loud ,I recommend wearing earplugs and the intake of the air will pull your shirt into it. So don’t wear very loose clothing.
