Southwire Coax Cable Cutter and Stripper

The Southwire XS-C1 Coax Cutter/Stripper is made for RG59, RG6 & RG6Q Coax Cable. Blades are made out of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. Grips feel very good as they have double layers and are textured for non-slip operation. They come with a 2-year warranty. Nice option they have is a catch above the grip to keep the stripper/cutter closed when storing in tool pouch or tool pouch pocket. There are cutting edges at the tip which is nice when having to cut cable ties. Made in China.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for anyone both professional and homeowner that needs a nice coax stripper. Nice sharp cutter and good grip. The only problem is the locking mechanism gets loose over time and will lock on it’s own while I’m using it. I do also wish the grips were more ergonomic but all in all it’s a good tool.
