The Stalwart Brand, Screwdriver Set with Magnetic Tips (18-Piece) appear to be a good set of basic screwdrivers for the home owner and do it yourself person. I installed this set in my workshop as I love doing home projects being retired. I can honestly attest that this set would have fallen short of my needs working a journeymen equipment mechanic, yet as a home owner and do-it-yourself type person, these are fine for most needs. And are a very affordable set for the first-time home buyer for replacing a towel rack or tightening a loose door hinge and any other general needs for a basic screwdriver. The supplied Torx tipped screwdrivers will likely not be of much use for the average person in my opinion as they are very small for most needs. On the other hand, the three small straight tip and one small Phillips tip will likely be the most useful of the entire set for a home owner and their kids’ toys. Do not be fooled by the “black” tips, they appear to only be dipped in black paint and when I installed a new license plate frame on my motor home, some of the black paint came off. The screwdrivers are weekly magnetic as a good “Chrome Alloy Steel” would not hold magnetism very well. Rarely will the highest quality screwdriver ever have magnetic properties. The handles of these screwdrivers are reasonably comfortable, even better than some brands. The molded plastic screwdriver holder may be installed one of two ways on the wall. I actually removed the stick-on decal and turned it over to install the molded plastic wall holder with the retaining screws on top as shown in the included installation instructions. I was concerned that having the wall screws at the bottom as shown on Home Depot’s Web Site, the plastic wall frame (holder) would have sagged down over time given the weight of the steel screwdrivers. For the price point, there is a good value here. I cannot rate this screwdriver set 5 of 5 because it is not the best quality at the lowest cost. It is still a great set at its selling cost.

What a great set of screwdrivers! Complete with a variety of sizes from small precision to large heavy duty, and everything in between. These screwdrivers are durable and comfortable to grip. The magnetic tip is another nice feature. And the set includes a convenient storage organizer that you can install above your workbench or wherever you need it. This set is would be a nice addition to any work room, garage, or tool bag.

Magnetized screw drivers are one of those ideas that makes you wonder why you didn’t think of it. They work great and make projects go so much better. Big man hands trying to hold a tiny screw in an awkward position is stressful and having a magnetized screw driver can make it all so easy. Having said that, this set had a half dozen teeny tiny ( the largest is a T-10) torx drivers that I cannot imagine ever using and the handles on the all the smaller screw drivers feel flimsy (all the handles are plastic). The larger screw drivers are ok with a nice solid feel and secure feeling handle but buying a set of 18 to get 5 or 6 good magnetized screw drivers doesn’t make sense. If you routinely use very small screw drivers or have a reason to use torx drivers then this is the set for you but otherwise go out and buy the individual tools in the sizes you frequently need.

This is a great 18 piece magnetic screw driver set . Especially when you are working in tight spaces and you can’t hold the screw in place with your other hand the magnetic tips really helps out they keep the screws in place while your starting the screws. The handles are very comfortable and the different size of screw drivers you get in this set is really nice. The small set all ready came in handy changing batters in my son toys for him they really came in handy for them. What is really nice they have the size of the screw drivers on the side of the handles and the tool holder is really nice I mounted this over my work bench and put my screw drivers in it. I think these screw drivers will be around for along time they are well made and very durable.

This is a nice set of screwdrivers with good handles and easy to read measurement on the side. Teh magnetic tips are really good and can hold a screw to the bit very easily. The handles are comfortable in the hand and allow for multiple use without wearing out. The variety of screwdrivers you get in this set is another nice feature. Each screwdriver looks like it is quality and will handle the work of a DIYer using it on a regular basis. My only real complaint that comes with this set is the holder that is provided within it. This is just a minor thing but because the screwdriver tip size and style information is on the side of the handle when in the holder the precision drivers and the front block this information from view. Also the flat head screwdriver holder is slotted so if your screwdriver turns will in the holder it will not come out until you line it up right. Other than the holder I have no issues with the set so I am still giving this set a 5 star rating because it is really about the screwdrivers themselves and not the holder that is just a throw in to me. These are quality screwdrivers for the price and would be great for your DIYers.

Picked up this 18 piece screwdriver set with holder for two reasons. 1) They are magnetic tipped so that people working in tight spaces can easily drive screws without the need to hold the screw in position with one hand and holding the driver in the other. I can think of countless situations where you need this feature and it is very handy (no pun intended). 2) The holder- I use my other screw drivers way less now that I can have a wide variety of sizes all together and I am not left hunting for the right tool for the job. I mounted the holder to my workbench in the garage and now everything is neatly organized and its easy to find the right size screwdriver for the job. For grip and quality and price, this set gets 5 stars!

Milwaukee already makes a great screwdriver, and this set is no exception. It is a full breadth of screwdrivers, probably every conceivable size you would ever need, with the Milwaukee build quality and features. The magnetic tips are a must have for people with fat fingers like me. And the best part? The holder to keep them all in! I am a neat freak and person who likes organization. Screwdrivers are great to have and you can never have enough of them, BUT finding a place to put them, and a way to grab the one you really need are two real problems for someone like me. This holder solve this problem. I have mounted it in the kitchen pantry, on the inside of the door, so they are always nearby. And if someone borrowed one, it’ll be most obvious that it is missing and it can be located before it is needed. The mount is a bit counterintuitive by having two screws on the bottom of the holder instead of the top, but I just used some thin double sticky tape to hold the upper part of the mount in place and the screws are just extra insurance it isn’t coming down. Great job Milwaukee! I have so many Milwaukee things in my arsenal, this is just one more well thought out and engineered product.

This set contains Torx, flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, but they are all on the small side. This is really more of a electronics tool set due to the size and the magnetic tips, I found the tips to be of a good hardness and used the a variety of tips. it came in handy for replacing batteries on electronics, the type that have a screw securing the cover, it engaged the screw positively with no slippage. the torx are also small, again better suited for repair work versus typical home repair jobs. but I did find a use for them when adding a laser to my miter saw. the handles are a good size providing reasonable leverage on tough screws. The rack provided is plastic and a decent quality, I mounted it above my workbench and it does a good job of keeping this organized. overall the quality was good and they do a good job for very small projects.
