My son in law needed a good but not industrial, make a living, socket set for the house. This fit the need in a compact kit and also included both SAE and metric hex drivers.

Decent but better options at the price point.

Great value. This is an amazing socket set for around the house. The bits fit super tightly into their slots in the case and can be hard to get out without the help of another tool like a screwdriver but the positive side of that is they stay organized and always stay where they’re suppose to. I would highly reccomend this set for anyone who needs a socket set for household or at home car repairs.

This was a birthday gift for my brother in law, in Oregon, as all his tools were stolen. He called me when he received it and this sister in law is now the best ever he said he loved them they snap in place and the case is secure so if he gets a new tool box they will not end up all jumbled up in the bottom of his tool box. He said it was the nicest socket set he has owned in 56 years.

Used it already on fairly tough job. Did job with little effort. Would like the rachet handles a bit more thick.

The 3/8 inch ratchet broke after very light use. The rest of them are about as good as you can ask for. What you get is an extremely durable case that holds the sockets very securely. You’ll need a pick to remove the sockets, in fact. This can be annoying, but you’ll appreciate it if you need a case that allows everything to stay in place.Overall, the quality is excellent. I believe the ratchet was just a lemon. I’m requesting a replacement from Stanley.
