Stanley Retractable Utility Knife

Awesome knife with tons of replacement blades

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this knife recently and really like the way it feels in my hands. It has some weight and feels solid. The rubberized grip makes it secure in use. I am happy that there is a good amount of storage for spare blades and that changing them is easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is real easy to use with convenient blade storage in the handle with push button release so you don’t have to take it apart to change blades it’s very well made and comfortable to use I would highly recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If this knife came in the hi-vis green like another model of Stanley knife did, then it would be absolutely perfect – as it is, it’s darn close!The blade storage in the handle is awesome – 10 blade capacity, and super-easy to access without any tool.Installation/replacement is equally easy!The ergonomics of the knife are second to none. When using, it feels like an extension of myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this knife from Stanley. On opening the package it is a very good looking knife. The handle has a nice ergonomic shape to it, and the knife when loaded cuts very well.I used this purposely on carpet to put it through a test It cut very well with no loading up of carpet fibers and no sticking in the material. Also the handle material was very comfortable while cutting thick carpet and padding.There were two things I disliked and subtracted a star for. First, I found myself looking for a belt clip. It makes using a knife of this design easier to use since it is always within reach. Secondly, there is no real position for your thumb outside of putting it on the blade lever. After some hard use that becomes uncomfortable very quickly. Outside of that, a very nice blade.

This Stanley retractable utility knife is a tool everyone should have. Stanley has really improved the knife and the smoothness of opening and closing the knife

It has ALWAYS been Stanley. Whether it was a fixed blade or retractable blade – single blade or double blade – my knives were always Stanley. The Fat Max line is simply the up-graded version of the quality tool everyone in the building industry has come to expect from Stanley. And I don’t believe anyone has been disappointed.
