Large heavy clamps. I wanted a 2.5″ throat version, but they were sold out. Turns out these are good for clamp stuff using my workbench. Other than being heavy, they work well enough.

This product is a step ahead of some of the other clamps I have. You can never have enough clamps. And I find using the right size clamp for a project is really important especially when doing complicated glue ups. Clamps that are too big can just get unwieldy and slow you down when speed is critical. I really like the increased throat depth of these clamps and the handles are much easier to grip when tightening. And as they are about half the price of the trigger style clamps and only a few dollars more than the light duty version of this clamp, I consider them to be reasonable value.

This clamp is great for larger walls etc. It can be used in multi purposes.

Throat depth is such a huge factor. Grip is really strong due to the thick i beam. The notches that secure the steel plates are well defined, never slip

First time using Bessey and they are very well made, I was expecting more plastic and lighter but I got a positive surprise! I will buy more in different sizes. I also purchased the REV version on 24″ (nicer but much more expensive) but I think I will invest better on more clutch style.

these are great clamps. they are a size I use frequently. I had already owned several, but needed a few more

Actually, I did not purchase this as a clamp. I converted it into a spreader so I could install some fabric onto a glider. I had to grind a couple of rivets off the bar and drill holes in the handle; but by putting the end bracket on the other end of the bar, it became a spreader that was reasonably priced.

A huge step up from my old clamps. Wish I’d got them sooner.
