This is a good ice cream maker. It is rather confusing how the plastic top is supposed to lock in place after placing the paddle in the frozen bowl. The top doesn’t really ‘lock’. There are some notches on the foundation the plastic top just rests against. The paddle appears to be rotating along with the bowl, then it stops. The bowl continues to turn, churning the mixture, but it tends to collect on one side of the paddle. I have to stop the machine periodically to balance the mixture.
