DEWALT 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 1/4 Sheet Variable Speed Sander (Tool-Only)

Very good sander the collection bag works fairly well plugs up rather quickly. I think that this product and other ones like this should come with the vacuum bag as well as the attachment to go to a vacuum cleaner. Other than that it is a very good product.

Liked it. Had to sand basement stairs to repaint and it did a good job. Good addition to my 20v tools.

Just another quality Dewalt cordless tool. I now have 8 of them and 4 batteries for my business. Love that they all work great together!

This is my second Sander from Dewalt excellent unit less noise and much easier to put the sandpaper than the equivalent from Ryobi and does a much better job if you planning to purchase this don’t think any more go for it.

Issue more with battery life than the sander. Really need two batteries for more than a couple of hours of continuous use..

Sander is fantastic. 20v battery only – no larger than 5AH. The output for vacuum will get in the way if you try to put on a 6ah or larger battery. I used a 4ah and a 5ah during sanding. The grip on sand paper is quite good – I had no problem or slippage from the sand paper while sanding. The attached perforation board for the sand paper worked as designed – put holes in the paper for ventilation. Selectable speeds from 1-7 give quite a bit of flexibility on the project. I was surprised how little my hands hurt after using this for 30 minutes. The battery usage was also good – being the brushless product. Preforms better than my corded unit – have an old “mouse” sander with a short cord. Dewalt cordless is just as powerful – more even – than my old corded unit. I was hoping the output hose connector would work with my Dewalt vac – nope. Perhaps with a larger shop vac unit – but that would limit me to a corded tool. Every time I upgrade a corded tool to Dewalt cordless I am amazed with the versatiliy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good tool max battery size is 5ah with dust collector plastic housing limiting the battery size.It has a nice clip in front for sand paper and a old fashioned clip in rear.I have been waiting for De Walt to come out with a cordless .25 sheet sander 🙂 very happy camper here
