The Genoa Brand, 15.5 fl. oz. Lead-Free Crystal White Wine Glasses (Set of 4) are beautiful wine glasses whether used for wine or other beverages. The thing I like best about these Genoa wine glasses are their thin bodies and rims. When I was very young my grandmother gave me a depression era green glass to drink from that was very thin and I asked her why was it was so thin, her reply: so, you can taste what you are drinking and not the glass. It is very true, wine or anything consumed from a thin glass rim against the lips just naturally tastes better. I love that these Genoa wine glasses are lead free crystal. Tap on them and they ring like a bell, run your damp finger around the rim and sing loud and clear. At my advanced age, I have never owned such nice glasses, for wine, the perfect size to enjoy the robust aroma of fine wines, or any other beverage. The long stem makes holding the glass easy and keeps one’s hands from adding warmth to a chilled wine. These Genoa wine glasses are perfect for any occasion and affordable given their high quality and generous size.

I’m not sure if everyone is like this but our family enjoys drinking out of the thin glasses. The problem with that is they are more expensive and break a lot easier so we go through them fairly quickly. Anyone with kids will understand this. These crystal cocktail glasses are thin, they way we like it, and at a reasonable price. They are thin but still feel heavy and not cheap. I like them.

Nice set of wine glasses made of fine lead-free crystal. They have a certain flare about them that sets them off. They are modern, classy. The glass is thin not heavy and nice to hold. May not be good for chilled wines in that the warmth of your hand will affect the temperature of the wine. The manufacturer says they are dishwasher safe, but we definitely hand wash them.

What a buy! Not only attractive, great price, but they actually ring when toasting!

A little larger than than I expected but I do like a large glass of wine. I love them they are very nice.
