You only get one basket with this purchse. The (set of 2) is for the handles I assume. I did look in the description before I purchased and it still seemed as though it included two. I should have known better but just for those wondering, it is only one basket. It is a nice basket and I like the square shape but I am unsure whether I will keep the item for that price.
