This appears to be an authentic Milwaukee battery which are hard to find. It takes and holds a charge. So far, so good. I gave it four out of five stars because they are crazy expensive.

Glad to have found these. My three old V-28 batteries finally gave out and I was worried that the strong system I had would be a loss. I love this drill and other tools in the system but finding batteries for it was a worry. Read alot of stories about bad purchases elsewhere but finally gave it a try here at Home Depot. These are great. Solid. Just like the old ones. Got my tools back for another go at it. Good batteries, no problems. Would buy again.
