OXO 7.4-Cup Black Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle with Automatic Shut-off

This is the best kettle! It heats up water super quick and it looks very stylish on my counter. I like that it is glass and love to watch the water boil. I love everything about this kettle.

We recently downsized from our home with built-in instant hot to an apartment. But with my new OXO electric kettle, I still have instant hot!

This glass electric kettle is amazing! It comes to a boil quickly. Very easy to use, Just fill with water and flip the switch. I like the way the water pours out, slow at first and faster after that. I am impressed and happy I made this purchase for myself and family member.

I’ve had this electric kettle for a couple months now and just love it. I drink hot tea 2 – 3 times daily, and this has cut the time for me to get that perfect cuppa down by a ton! You’re probably NOT supposed to do this, but I’ll prepare the max amount of water (60 oz) and pop 4 of my PG Tips Gold teabags directly into the kettle and the tea turns out really lovely and strong. Once a week or so, I’ve given it a good rinse with water and then follow with a cup of vinegar to remove any possible deposits, swishing it about for a bit. The little strainer can get stained with tea, so I’ll soak that in a cup of water and oxyclean and the stains come off completely. I love this kettle! And love that I can get a fresh cuppa with very little effort.

This is a quick and easy way to boil water without using a microwave oven or a stove. The base units and the bottom of the kettle remains cool to the touch so will not affect counter top or table. Fill with water to desired level (maximum is nearly 2 Quarts), close the lid, put on base, press switch. The switch lights and water starts to simmer in 2 minutes, goes to a roiling boil like I have rarely seen.
