RYOBI ONE+ 9 in. 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Edger – 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included

Haven’t used yet, looks like it will be more convenient than an electric edger.

Drains battery rather fast on very thick clean up but for normal edging it preforms flawlessly

For a cordless edger it works very well. If your “edge” is overgrown a lot, the grass will “bog” the edger down. Make your cut slowly and allow the edger to maintain it normal speed. Once the initial edging is completed, the follow up cuts will be a piece of cake. Just remember that battery powered edgers don’t have the same torque power that gas powered ones have. After the initial cutting, this Ryobi does just fine.

This item is awesome to use and the results are spectacular. We have no issues with this edger, it works great and makes our yard look well groomed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the battery operated edger as a Christmas gift and I couldn’t be more thrilled! It is light weight yet very sturdy! Don’t hesitate on this little gem if you want to pretty up your sidewalk and driveway edge.

Based on other reviews I expected it to eat up batteries quickly, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I replaced a gas powered edger with this and my driveway was in pretty good shape. If you have a gravy growth of grass to cut first time you might have some issues first time you use it. After that, I think you’ll be very pleased. My driveway is around 100 ft long and even a small battery takes care of it with lots of battery to spare.
