RYOBI Wood Door Lock Installation Kit

Yes but I wished I bought the next step up to make it easier. Getting the female plate to attach in the door jam, took some doing. Very old door, Rey hard oak wood. I made a paper template of the female plate attached it to the door jam, painted the end of the male part in the door lock, close the door, turn the lock to make an imprint on the paper for location to put the plate. Very old door, very hard oak. Done!

This was easy to use and made putting in our new doors so much easier!

Worked well for 8 doors I had to install. Not the greatest quality but served it’s purpose

Got this, and it worked great.. for the most part.. the door handle guide put fell out and I out it back in the wrong place. That causes a gap in the door handle.. so.. great product, watch what you are doing!!

This is a very nice door handle set to own, when you need it, it will perform like it states. There is some measuring and set up needed but everything you need is in this kit. From the saw blade to the adjustable template you’ll need to cut your door handle hole. I find this jig easy to set up and very ease to use with a little time to understand how it works.

My neighbor lady wanted to learn how to install a door lock on a new door she purchased. I saw this as a perfect opportunity to teach her and this tool made it so much easier than the old method of measure, cut and chisel. So we got started today and it went very well, it cut the lock into the door with ease. She absolutely fell in love with the product. She did it all herself with minimal instruction from me…
