Southwire Compact Stranded Wire Stripper 16 AWG -26 AWG

Southwire’s compact wire strippers has a nice double dipped grip and the stripper is made of heavy duty stainless steel. The tip has a great tip for looping wire and a sharp cutting edged shear. This wire stripper cuts and strips 16 AWG stranded wire up to 26 AWG. This wire stripped has a built in locking lever which locks or opens with ease. Fits nicely in your hand for easy stripping of stranded wire.

I know that they are compact and it’s nice if you need to strip in a tight area but they are almost to compact for big hands. It doesn’t make them unusable at all I just prefer a bigger handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the strippers! I bought a pair from another company that does up to 22 gauge because that is the smallest I could find in box stores. I need to be able to strip 24 and 26 gauge as a netwrok and controls electrician. You guys know about trying to strip Cat5 and 6 or BacNet and Lon wire! Literally impossible without these strippers! I get a nice clean cut on my jacket and a perfect length on my stranded wire for termination! I actually lost these yesterday in a ceiling and I was literally “lost” without them! I spent the next hour and a half searching and re-tracing my steps before I found them! Great little strippers!!!
