Tramontina Gourmet 16 qt. Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Lid

This pot is so nice. The weight is substantial and allows even heating. I have some brand name cookware that costs a lot more and I prefer to use this Tramontina because it’s just as good, if not better. As I purchase new cookware, I will definitely be looking to buy more Tramontina pieces as I have been very satisfied with this one.

Top Quality Stock Pot! I am an All-Clad person. But I really didn’t want to pay the $$$ for an All-Clad version of this pot. I had read great comparisons about Tramontina providing similar quality to All-Clad at half the price. This was my first Tramontina purchase, and that assessment is correct. This is All-Clad quality at a reasonable price. A 16 qt stock pot is very useful if like my you keep adding stuff and like to double recipes. I was always running out of space in my 8 qt pot. With this, I can explore and not have to worry. I use this pot far more than I thought I would.Heat is even for browning veggies. No burning. Easy cleanup. No sticking. There are no downsides.The pot is very solid. If you are a serious cook, I recommend this ‘gourmet’ version of the standard model.If you are demanding about your cookware, you will be pleased with this pot.

Sturdy…

I finally have a Soup and/or Sauce Pot that is large enough and deep enough that I can cook large amount and NOT get splatter and grease all over the top of my stove. I love it.

This pot is the perfect size. Not too tall so there is plenty of space at the top to see in and cook, not too wide so doesn’t impede use of the other burners on the stove. Not too heavy, but heavy enough to be very sturdy and distribute heat well. AND…it’s pretty too!

This is a great pot. Heavy weight, washes easy, and works great on both a glasstop and gas stove top. Its large though, so make sure you have room in your kitchen. 5 stars all the way around!!!

Pleasantly surprised. Nice heavy bottom. I have used it several times already and things so far resist sticking to the bottom. The only drawback to a pot this big is that it is heavywhen loaded, but I suspect that is all a matter of adjusting and being innovative about how to load and unload it. I am very satisfied and have already recommended it to others.
