Elite Platinum 6 Qt. Black Programmable Slow Cooker with Locking Lid

It has so many features I truly appreciate: the locking lid, the ease of removing the cooking pot, and – best of all – the programming feature!! This Elite Slow Cooker has made my life so much easier. I use it almost every day. I came home today to a moist tender pork roast ready for my family’s dinner!

I love that it has a retractable power cord underneath the slow cooker so when not in use it you can wind up the cord! The fact that it’s programmable is great! I didn’t know they made programmable slow cookers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cooker. I really like the slick design and digital displace. This is my first slow cooker and I found it very easy to use. Pros: nice looking on your counter top, retractable cord, light weight, easy clean up and locking lid. So far I have found no cons. I would recommend this.

Works just as well.as.that one did.Intuitive interface and it cooked up our chili excellently.The only downsides:The size. Too big by a bit to fit in my sink, making it awkward to clean; andThe lid. My old slow cooker had the lid attached to the unit. This isn’t and so you have to put it somewhere to check and stir your dish. And, because the lid isn’t flat, it doesn’t sit well on most surfaces, which is a pain

It’s the perfect size for our family of six. It’s large and deep and cooks perfectly. I love the locking lid and the fact that it’s lightweight. My last slow cooker was extremely heavy.

I love that the crock is so light and easy to clean.

You can preset a timer and the temperature before you leave to do anything. It’ll turn off for you and you don’t have to worry about burning your food. I made chili as my first dish and boy was it delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item shipped quickly and arrived intact. I washed the inner pot and lid in warm soapy water as instructed. The outer shell seems bulky but is surprisingly light. The retractable electric cord is my favorite feature. The instructions are clear, concise, and easy to follow. I cooked a roast for the first meal in this crockpot. The only issue I had with this appliance was resetting the cook time/temp to finish the roast. That was a little confusing, but I figured it out. 5 stars. I would and have recommended this to friends and family.
