Estwing are tried and true. They have been around for a long time. I have a nice collection of Estwing in various weights and styles, the 11 oz. fills a niche in the collection. They are well balanced and they look nice.

Bought leather handle for nostalgia for a lost copy. I would now consider the rubber handle as it feels better in the hand. Still like the feel of the leather handle.

bought my first estwing in the early 1980s, still have it and use it nearly ever day. why buy another one ? you old timers know why. its getting to be that time. its going on the shelf in my shop for my grand son ,happy hammering.

This hammer is very good looking and when you use it ,it works very well so if someone wants one do apply for it.

If you appreciate your tools as much as you enjoy using them, this is the best hammer ever. Traditional styling and impeccable quality. I can’t attest to day-to-day comfort or durability for the constructor, but for the home craftsman it’s a tool to cherish. (You will need some adhesive remover solvent to get the three labels off.) If you’re considering a gift for someone, this is unbeatable.
