We got this for our 6-year-old so he could know what time it was in the hopes he would not wake us up at 5:00am every morning. 😉 It works great! He loves changing the light color and he can go to sleep to the sounds of the rain or birds. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is I do wish the light mode was more dimmable. The lowest setting is still very bright.

So far the main thing I don’t like is that I can turn this alarm clock off somehow by just hitting the snooze twice. I like the light alarm, but I can turn that off hitting the snooze once it seams. It would be great if the snooze and alarm buttons were further apart from each other, because this may be the way I’m turning the alarm completely off. The mood light and the sounds are a great feature. I’m still having to set two other alarms in the room to catch me from oversleeping, but I’m impossible to get up.

It has 5 sounds that can play as whitenoise when going to sleep, and the same 5 sounds can be used as a wake up alarm, in addition to the tpical beep sound. The two are NOT the same and function independently of each other (i.e. the whitenoise sound can be different than the alarm sound while retaining the alarm sound).
